FBCS Financial Privacy and Refund Policy

It is the desire of First Baptist Church of Sudbury (FBCS) to protect donor confidentiality and accounting information in all circumstances. For that reason, the following policies have been established and strict adherence to the policy is required on the part of all ministry personnel who have access to financial information.

Donor and Contribution Information

FBCS staff members will be given access to donor and contribution information only as required in the performance of their responsibilities. All donor and contribution information will be kept either electronically in our password, access-protected donor software and accounting software. Any donor or contribution information in paper form is maintained in locked file cabinet. Paper donations or contribution information that is no longer needed will be shredded.

It is also the policy of FBCS to never disclose, rent, or sell our donor list or any donor information to any individual or organization outside of the ministry, except to our Auditors.

Refund Policy

If you submit a donation online and there is an error in the amount of the transaction, please contact David Wolfe in the church office 978-443-7171. If you have concerns about use of the donation that you have given, please contact us within 30 days of the donation and we will resolve the issue.

Collection and Uses of Your Information

Our registration forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, email address, address, interests, and similar information. We do not request or store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card or social security numbers. In partnership with By the Book and Blue Fin Payments, FBCS is fully PCI compliant.

Terms and Conditions

At any time, you may obtain a summary of the personal information on record with FBCS, which has been collected about you via the website. In addition, at any time you may request to correct the personal information, request that such information be removed form the FBCS database, or request that FBCS no longer solicit you either by email, telephone, regular mail or by any other means.
