If the aim of theology is that the bride of Christ will be worshiping the Bridegroom with both knowledge of Him and passion for Him for all eternity, then we must have leaders that know the Scripture, understand the eternal weight of this task, and are equipped to lead our churches to this end. If the Christians in local churches are to understand and experience this heavenly reality on this side of eternity then the Church must have men and women who know it, believe it, and lead them to it in corporate worship.
Through our worship internship, you will receive one-on-one discipleship from a mentor whose primary desire is to see you grow in your relationship with Christ as a foundation for your ministry and life. You will also be trained in the numerous skills you will utilize as a worship leader both musically and beyond music such as how to lead a worship team, how to operate commonly used A/V technology (Propresenter, Planning Center, sound equipment, etc.), and how to plan a service in partnership with the pastor. All this, while also having opportunities to lead believers in worship on a regular basis during the summer in a variety of settings.
