The local church is tasked and empowered by the Lord to teach and equip the next generation. The Church is to lead the next generation in loving God and loving neighbor. In God’s kindness, the Church has been entrusted with the message of reconciliation. As such, we must take serious any and all opportunities that we have to remind believers of the gospel and proclaim the gospel to those who have not yet come to faith. However, this task is not an individual task, it is completed collectively. The local church must train up leaders who joyfully seek to sacrifice their skills, talents, time, and resources so that the light of the gospel goes forth. Our summer internship program focuses on that.
During the 11 weeks of the internship, you will be invested in through prayer, discipleship, theological education, biblical interpretation, and hands-on ministry experience. You will be involved in cultivating engagement with our mission teams, community partners, and local church members as they participate in multiple weeks of summer camps, missional outreach programs, and community work events.
