SUNDAY SCHOOL

From 9:15–10:15am on Sunday mornings, there are adult bible study classes offered to give further insight into a variety of topics. Here are the current classes:

Technology and the Family
Taught by Jonathan & Chelsea Levis, and Kara Miller
They are in our pockets, on our wrists, in the center of family rooms, providing immediate answers, entertainment, and affirmation. Do you ever wonder how this easy-everywhere technology forms us and our families? Are our habits shaping our longings toward or away from the gospel? Join us for a Sunday School class that examines this issue and find everyday steps for putting technology in its proper place. This 6-week class will begin on March 4 at 9:15 am. Please email Kara Miller or Jonathan and Chelsea Levis if you are interested in attending (karaweltymiller@gmail.com or chelsea.levis@gmail.com).

Parenting Class
Taught by Dave and Kara Miller
An upcoming Sunday School Class, 14 Gospel Principles for Parenting based on a book by Paul David Tripp, is for parents of all ages beginning March 5 – June 11 (missing April 16). Beginning with a short video by the author, the class will discuss the concept for that week and then explore some practical ways to implement that concept.

Psalm 23
Taught by John and Dolores Marciniec
We will be spending time in Psalm 23 for the next 18 weeks, starting 1/7/18. The weekly study topics will be taken from a book by Max Lucado titled "Traveling Light." Please join us for practical applications of this beloved Psalm.

Life’s Greatest Story
Taught by Elton Tucker, Souvenir Tachado & Alisson Chaves
This class follows a 6 week study, focusing on passages from Psalms, Isaiah, Romans, and 2 Timothy. Following this class will be a 7-week study titled, "Unstoppable Gospel" (passages from Acts 2 and 2 Chronicles).

1 Corinthians
Taught by Joe Rotz and Kelley Doel
A study on 1 Corinthians using the Warren Wiersby bible study series.

Book of Ephesians
Taught by Aram Mirigian
Start attending today and pick up in the New Testament book of Ephesians. The class uses the lesson and discussion to grow us more to Christ and each other.

Exploring the Old Testament (Middle School & High School Students)
Taught by Edgardo Rosa & Student Leaders
The middle school and high school students are invited to explore the importance of the Old Testament, the grand story that it tells, and the applications that it provides.
