ANNIE ARMSTRONG EASTER OFFERING
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering changes lives forever by empowering North American missionaries to bring the gospel to the lost. Join us on the mission to equip every missionary and reach every lost person in the United States and Canada. You can give to the Annie Armstrong Offering with the giving envelopes in the pews or online at www.fbcsudbury.org/give.
LIFE EXPLORED CLASS
Starts April 23, 2017
Life Explored is a seven-session class featuring a combination of short films, shot around the world, and Bible interaction. As it explores the Bible story, Life Explored shows how our deepest desires for happiness can only be satisfied in one person, Jesus Christ. The best gift God can give us is himself. People exploring Christianity, as well as those looking for resources on how to explain Christianity, are welcome to attend on Sunday nights starting April 23 from 6:00–7:30pm.
Email Edgardo Rosa at email@example.com if you plan on attending.
May 7, 2017
There will be a congregational meeting immediately after the service on May 7. The primary purpose of this meeting will be to discuss any further changes to the membership section of the constitution as presented at the last meeting. Please contact Pastor Jay ahead of time as well if you have any questions about the changes.
This will be a potluck meal, so please bring a dish to share.
On May 7, immediately after the service, Ruthie Allen will be taking directory photos. If the weather is nice, these will be taken outside by the sanctuary. Please make your best effort to get an updated directory photo, and also use it as an opportunity to get an updated family photo.
May 21, 2017
On Sunday, May 21, from 2:30–6:30pm, Pastor Jay will be teaching a membership class. This is a time for people who are looking to learn more about why we do membership, and to ask questions about the church’s beliefs, distinctives, and what it means to be a member at FBC Sudbury. Childcare and dinner are provided at the church.
Email Chelsea Levis at firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan on attending.
COMMUNITY GROUP – PARENTING CLASS
The community group that meets at Al and Erika Chaves’ house will be going through the book Parenting by Paul Tripp. If you have been unable to come to this class on Sunday mornings, please feel free to join the Chaves’ community group on Tuesdays at 6:00pm to read and discuss this topic.
Email Al Chaves at email@example.com if you plan on attending.
In 2017, our church is making an effort to have gospel conversations within our spheres of influence. We have heard from many of you about sharing your faith and your experience over the past few months. If you haven’t shared your stories with us, please do so by going to www.fbcsudbury.org/share. This both encourages the staff and the congregation.
This week, continue to pray:
- For boldness as we share the hope of the gospel with our family and friends.
- For creative ways to serve our neighbors and community.
- For many people in the MetroWest to place their faith in Jesus.
